Walt Brozowski is our firm investigator. His investigative background began with his completion of the United States Marine Corps intelligence school in 1982. He served as an intelligence analyst at G-2 Division Headquarters with the Second Marine Division and with the S-2 intelligence section attached to Third Battalion, Second Marines. In 1988 he joined our law firm and has investigated a wide variety of cases, including automobile accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, products liability and many others. He was the instructor of the Legal Investigation class offered by the University of North Florida, Continuing Education, Paralegal Program from 1990 to 1999. Walt is licensed as an investigator by the State of Florida and is presently a member of the National Association of Legal Investigators. NALI is a national association committed to the advancement of the art and science of legal investigation and to ensure the highest standard of professional ethics. |
Theresa A. Poulin has been a legal assistant for the firm since 1991. Theresa has completed continuing legal courses at the University of North Florida and Florida Community College of Jacksonville. Theresa also graduated with honors from Florida Community College of Jacksonville for completion of studies in the area of special needs education for elementary-age children. During her tenure with the Coker firm, Theresa has assisted in civil litigation and has extensive courtroom experience with assisting attorneys during civil trials. She also has past experience in workers’ compensation law, subrogation law, products liability and personal injury law. |
Leigh Howton Philips has been a paralegal for the firm for 23 years. Leigh graduated from Valdosta State College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Telecommunications. Thereafter, she attended the National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta, GA, graduating in 1983. During her time with the firm, she has assisted with cases in varying areas including subrogation, insurance defense, medical malpractice, products liability, workers’ compensation, and more recently, personal injury. Leigh is responsible for a number of assigned cases and continues to work with her civil litigation trial team, generally involving Charles Sorenson and Howard Coker. |
Rose Levine is one of our paralegals. Rose attended school in Maryland and worked for the U.S. Senate. While there, she attended IBM Institute in Bethesda, MD. She has over 35 years experience in the legal profession in both defense and plaintiff’s work. She took a break from the legal field and went to work for Hamilton Jordan, establishing the ATP Tour. She enjoys living at the beach and relaxing there after a hard day’s work in town. |
Michele McClain Adkison has been a paralegal with Coker, Schickel, Sorenson & Posgay since January of 2003. Michele graduated with honors from Florida Community College of Jacksonville, earning her Associates in Science Degree in legal studies. During her time with the firm, she has assisted with cases involving personal injury, premises liability and wrongful death. Michele serves as paralegal to Howard Coker and Matthew Posgay and she is frequently involved in cases relating to complex litigation and liability issues. She assists in all phases of litigation, mediation and trial. Michele is best known for her attention to detail, her compassion to others, and her willingness to always go above and beyond. |
Robyn Magee Scull started with the firm in 1984 after graduating from the University of Florida and the National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta, GA. She is a Florida Registered Paralegal. Robyn has expertise and assists the attorneys in the litigation and trials of complex personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, premises liability and medical malpractice cases. Having worked for insurance companies at other firms in the past, Robyn has a great understanding of what it takes to help the firm’s clients obtain the justice they deserve. Robyn is actively involved with teen ministries at her church and is a 2nd degree black belt and instructor in Okinawan Kenpo Karate. |
